Slumdog Millionaire

It has been a very long time since I've seen a movie this good, and so very well done. Told over three different time spans in the life of Jamal Malik, an 18-year old orphan from the slums of Mumbai who is trying to win a million dollars on the India version of "Who Wants to be a Millionaire?" When questioned for possibly cheating on the game show, we come to learn how the tragedies and traumas of Jamal's life have also served as his education in life. Still, despite the possibility of win big money, Jamal only wants the only love of his life, Latika.

Great movie, with great performances. Definitely an A.
