Taking of Pelham 123

Solid, tight, and tense, John Travolta and Denzel Washington have put together a great summer thriller. Travolta is the bad guy with a give-a-damn attitude, with Washington being thrown into the subway dispatcher-turned hostage negotiator role. They don't share the same screen until the end, but the build up to get there is worth it. Deserving of a B+.
